What is inside each CD?

Who are the lessons for?

• These lessons are ideal for primary school children and keen parents of any age! They can be listened to alone, with a parent or even in a classroom environment with a whole class.

   

How will these CDâs help my child?

• The Lingorama lessons encourage children to develop an interest in, an appreciation of, and a positive attitude towards the French language and culture.

How are the lessons structured?

Each lesson is divided into the following sections:

1. Introduction (this is where we greet the children, say âBonjourâ, talk about the weather, etc.).
2. Finger mime (the same finger mime is repeated over the four lessons to encourage the children to develop their sentence construction and reinforcement of the new language).
3. A traditional French song (with explanation).
4. The ânew wordsâ (based on the theme).
5. A game (based on the new and previous vocabulary).
6. A second traditional French song (with explanation).
7. A story (the story is split into four parts:  in the first lesson you hear part 1, in the second lesson you hear parts 1 and 2, in the third lesson you hear parts 1, 2 & 3, and in the fourth lesson you hear the complete story).
8. Au revoir.

Each CD strikes the perfect balance between repetition and variation. This enables the children to gain a strong reinforcement of the new language as well as enjoying learning new words every lesson.
